This improves your mood, relieves anxiety, tension, helps you sleep better and increases your energy levels. Impress A 0.25 mg/25 mg Tablet also prevents extreme changes in mood and helps you feel less agitated. You may experience fewer episodes of depression and low mood. It can take several weeks for this medicine to work and you may still feel low during this time. It is likely that you will take this medicine for at least six months but possibly much longer. It needs to be taken regularly to work effectively. Do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Imipramine is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating the mood and treat depression.

Pregnancy

If a dose of Impress A 0.25 mg/25 mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

It can take a week or two after starting this treatment before the effect begins to build up, and 4-6 weeks before you feel the full benefit. Stopping treatment suddenly can cause problems and your doctor will probably want you to reduce your dose gradually when this becomes necessary. Inform your doctor immediately if you get thoughts about harming yourself or ending your life. Avoid alcohol while taking Impress A 0.25 mg/25 mg Tablet. If you have diabetes, you will be asked to monitor your blood glucose level regularly as Impress A 0.25 mg/25 mg Tablet may affect the levels of sugar in your blood.
