In Prevention of Malaria In India, as per the National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP), Novadox Dry Syrup may be used for the treatment as well as prevention of malaria. Children coming from other countries and visiting malaria-endemic regions of India are advised to start Novadox Dry Syrup a day or two before their visit and continue the same till 28 days after leaving the area. Children less than 8 years of age are advised to take alternative medicine as Novadox Dry Syrup is not safe in this age group. In Treatment of Bacterial infections Novadox Dry Syrup is a versatile antibiotic medicine which can be used to treat many different infections caused by bacteria. These include infections of the blood, brain, lungs, bones, joints, urinary tract, stomach and intestines. It can also be used to treat sexually transmitted diseases. It stops the growth of the bacteria causing the infection and clears the infection. Take it for as long as prescribed by the doctor and avoid skipping doses. This will make sure that all bacteria are killed and they do not become resistant. In Treatment of Acne Novadox Dry Syrup treats acne, commonly called pimples. It kills the acne-causing bacteria and prevents spots or pimples from appearing. It usually takes a few weeks to have a noticeable effect so keep using it even if it appears not to be working. Sometimes acne may get worse before it gets better, however, with proper use, your skin will get clearer. The earlier you start taking it, the less likely you are to get scars. This medicine will help improve your mood and uplift your confidence as your skin becomes acne-free.

Kidney

Liver

Caution Advised: Novadox Dry Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Novadox Dry Syrup may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, you can administer the missed dose once you recall it. However, if it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Stick to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid giving a double dose to make up for the missed one.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Maintain a sufficient time gap between meals and medicine intake as giving it before food poses a risk of stomach upset but giving it after food may reduce its absorption. If your child develops diarrhea as a side effect, encourage them to drink plenty of water. Give the medicine to your child while sitting or standing, to prevent any throat irritation. Do not let your child lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking Novadox Dry Syrup. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid to your child within 2 hours of taking Novadox Dry Syrup as these can affect the absorption of the medicine. Novadox Dry Syrup may make your child�s skin sensitive to sunlight. Avoid unnecessary or prolonged exposure to sunlight and make sure your child wears protective clothing, sunglasses, and sunscreen whenever going out in the sun. Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection. Discontinue Novadox Dry Syrup and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing.
